For art lovers, a work of art is more than a simple visual expression. The ability to transcend conventional limits and soar through universes of shapes, colors, and textures transports the observer to a personal destination, a unique and immersive experience.

In my case, the journey begins with the conception of the idea itself. From my early works to the most recent, each piece reflects my commitment to innovation and discovery, opening the door to sensations that reveal a personal and creative transformation.

Moods framed in specific places that seem to come from shared memories. Granada, Toledo, Paris, Milan—names of architectural significance that merge in this digital canvas with my own reflections and discoveries.

And each journey will transform into as many journeys as people experience it. Just like my approach to art. With each new step, the soul will write new lines of deep introspection. A new chapter in my personal journey.

What if you could have a journey tailor-made for you, including as many emotions from as many different places as you desire?

This is precisely my goal when creating exclusive and personalized works: to offer each person the possibility of deciphering the map of their soul through the fusion of emotions and sensations through the image. Blending the visible with the invisible. The portrait of a person while daydreaming.

The creation process begins with a personal conversation with me, where you will tell me what you would like the work to reflect, what you want your personal journey to be. With the experience of having faced this challenge many times, I will start the search for images, sharpening my intuition, delving into every millimeter of the composition, the lights, the shadows…, pursuing the most suitable fusion so that emotions, sensations, dreams, and memories find their place in the expected portrait.

Antonio Mora Pays Tribute to Women at the XXVIII Medieval Festival of Elche

The municipality of Elche is adorned with magic and tradition in its twenty-eighth edition of the Medieval Festival, a deeply rooted cultural program that celebrates the richness of the city’s history and identity. This year, Antonio Mora, an artist from Elche, was chosen to illuminate the festival with his unique artistic expression. His three captivating posters not only adorn the heart of the city but also pay tribute to women under the main motto of «Mulier, lux mundi» (Woman is the light of the world), a tribute to their importance in society and community building.

In a profoundly respectful and admiring gesture, Antonio Mora has decided to focus on the figure of women in his posters, something that has been the core of his extensive artistic work. But these are not just artistic portraits; they are tributes to the light, love, and power of women. A tribute that, for one week, the citizens of Elche will witness and participate in through the art and beauty that the posters bring and represent.

Three Mottos, Three Perspectives

The posters that embellish the city center and accompany every action in the festival program feature three Latin mottos, each with a unique and touching perspective.

«Omnia vincit amor» reminds us of love’s ability to overcome barriers, highlighting the essential role of women in building loving and lasting relationships.

«Si vis amari, ama» is Seneca’s message that emphasizes the reciprocity of love. A message that transcends genders and becomes a universal reminder inviting us to love in order to be loved, highlighting the empathy and mutual care that women often embody.

«Mulier, lux mundi» celebrates women as a source of light in the world, emphasizing their influence and power to illuminate our lives and communities.

Artistic Expression and Deep Connection to Hometown

Known for his technical skill, Antonio Mora has turned this commission from the municipality of Elche into a meticulous work, as each of the three posters aims to convey a clear message of empathy through women in a high-caliber artistic expression. The artist’s contribution showcases his ability to manipulate and blend digital images, textures, and colors to create striking compositions. It’s a manifestation of his distinctive artistic technique through which he manages to create a sense of depth and emotional evocation in his works.

Every detail in each of the posters, from the selection of base images to the editing and overlay of visual elements, testifies not only to his ability to communicate the beauty and strength of the female figure through technique but also to the love that Antonio Mora holds for his city, Elche, and his unbreakable bond throughout his artistic career.

‘Retratos Imposibles’, vinos y fogones: un maridaje singular

Granada ha acogido durante cinco días la muestra ‘Retratos Imposibles’. La experiencia se ha producido del 11 al 16 de abril, en el Restaurante Negro Carbón de Granada convirtiendo la improvisada sala de exposiciones, en un peculiar cruce de caminos entre sensaciones y emociones, uniendo a la sensitiva cocina del prestigioso restaurante, la peculiar visión del artista. Un maridaje realmente exquisito en el que no podemos olvidar la colaboración de Bodegas Muñana, que ofreció una selección de sus mejores vinos para acompañar la inauguración de la muestra.

La exposición consta de una serie de retratos en blanco y negro y en color, en diferentes tamaños y formas, en soporte eva y cartón pluma. También se han incluido dos lonas de gran tamaño que han cautivado a los visitantes por su impacto visual.

Además de los retratos, la muestra ha incluido una colección de cinco láminas inspiradas en cinco bellas imágenes de Granada. Estas imágenes reflejan la pasión de Antonio Mora por la ciudad y su cultura, y son una muestra más de su creatividad y talento.

«Retratos Imposibles» ha sido toda una experiencia, atrayendo a un gran número de visitantes interesados en la obra de Antonio Mora. Muchas gracias a todos los que habéis asistido a esta muestra que una vez más pretende esbozar nuevas realidades, cruzar los límites de la creatividad y la percepción, conectar con el alma humana. Asisitir a una exposición internacional es siempre ilusionante y motivador. No sólo por la oportunidad de poder mostrar tu obra, sino por la posibilidad de poder coincidir con otros artistas, descubrir y admirar grandes trabajos y aplaudir toda la inspiración que el evento reúne. El pasado 28 de diciembre, la cita fue en la Pedrera. Un entorno inigualable para albergar la visión artística de más de 250 firmas procedentes del todo el mundo.

No imaginas un escenario mejor para alimentar esta torre de babel de lenguas y artes diversos que la sala de exposiciones de La Pedrera. Es el elemento mágico que sin saber cómo, cohesiona sensaciones y da sentido a diálogos totalmente improbables.
